What is Prevacid?

Prevacid Solutab and Prevacid 24hour are both delayed released drugs that are also available in 30 mg and 15 mg. The Prevacid SoluTab dissolves under the tongue. Prevacid is also available under the brand name First-Lansoprazole which is a powder that is made into an oral suspension. Never take more than a tablet every 24 hours. Prevacid 24hours should be taken just once a day for 14 days. Before giving to a child consult your doctor. Children below I year shouldn’t be given this drug. Alcohol intake might lessen the effect of this drug.
